Living in Phuket

Phuket is what you get when island life meets full-scale tourism infrastructure. It can be beautiful and relaxing, but also a bit chaotic depending on where you are.

Living here works best if you’re intentional about your setup. Pick the right area, avoid the most tourist-heavy zones, and you can build a pretty great routine. Beach access, good food, and a relatively low cost of living are all there.

The downside is that it can feel transient. A lot of people are passing through, and the vibe can shift depending on the season. It’s less stable than somewhere like Chiang Mai, but if you want ocean + affordability, it’s a strong option.
